You may remember this wedding I attended last summer.
I wanted to share with you some of the details from her fabulous bridal shower.
Katie's bridemaids did a great job with her spring shower. They captured the essence of the couple's tropical honeymoon in many of the details.
The cute invitations were ordered from Wedding Paper Divas.
There was a threat of some rain the day of the shower. Katie's bridesmaids were able to get tents, and the planned backyard luncheon continued without any problem.
Impressive centerpieces, huh?
Love this idea! I will definitely steal this at some point. Salads were served in these brightly colored Chinese take-out style containers. Not only were they colorful, but it made serving the large number of guests simpler. And, vegetarian options could be color coded as needed.
Festive lanterns and a grass skirt adorned the beverage station.
The highlight? These incredible cupcakes. Fondant beach towels, with the bride's new last initial "monogrammed" on, topped with little beach umbrellas. Aren't they adorable? The "sand" was graham cracker crumbs mixed with sugars. The bride's cousin is quite talented!
